Reviews about Nothing But the Tooth
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪What can I say?.... Rachel Wood ....HUGE THANKYOU to you and all the team. After yrs of being so frightened and having terrible treatment, I will never EVER be afraid of a dentist again!! Cried today...NOT because it hurt or I was scared, but because it DIDN'T and I WASN'T !! And the relief... wow!!!!! Thank you so so much Rachel xby Caroline WilkesNovember 23, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My fear of dentists started around 1957 when I received my first treatment from a very unsympathetic practitioner who didn't seem to realise that children need to be treated in a gentle and caring way. I had a painful experience, the memory of which has stayed with me, and as a result, I spent much of my life trying to avoid going anywhere near a dentist, with predictable consequences. Eventually, toothache forced me to seek help, and after a few unsuccessful attempts I discovered a very kind and extremely competent dentist who I started to trust and who did a lot to improve my oral health. Unfortunately he decided to emigrate to Australia (perhaps to get away from me), and as a six monthly air ticket proved to be a step too far for my bank manager, I started to revert to my bad old ways and failed to immediately find a new dentist as I was afraid that I would be unable to find another one in which I could place my trust. Eventually, after a period of research, I decided to visit Celia at Nothing But The Tooth. It was one of the best things I have ever done. She is kind and understanding and puts patients at their ease. Treatment is painless and gentle, and will proceed only at a pace which the patient feels comfortable with. I have also received regular treatment from Amy, the Therapist, and she likewise is a joy, whilst also being extremely competent and professional. I used to find it difficult to even enter a dentist's waiting room, but the staff on reception here are always welcoming, and help one to relax with a brief chat and the offer of a drink. Around a year ago, I moved house to another part of the country, but I am still happy to make the four hour round trip journey to Nothing But The Tooth, because now that I've found them, I wouldn't want to settle for second best elsewhere.by Chris HarrisonMarch 17, 2017
